Carol R. Hutton, former town clerk

Hutton Hutton Carol R. Hutton (nee Rappl), 68, of Orchard

Park, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018.

Mrs. Hutton was born on April 3, 1950, in

Lackawanna. She graduated from Orchard

Park High School in 1968.

Mrs. Hutton worked for TVGA Consultants, an architecture and engineering firm that occupied the building that now houses the Orchard Park Senior Center. Though she was hired to work for two weeks as a file clerk, Hutton stayed on for 10 years, serving as a receptionist, working on the company’s state contracts for bridge inspections and serving in the payroll department.

In 2009, she became the Orchard Park town clerk and served in that role for more than five years.

Mrs. Hutton is survived by two children, Amey Dziulko and Brett Hutton; five grandchildren; and three siblings, Jean Petro, JoAnn Pawela and Philip Rappl. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Nov. 6 from Nativity of Our Lord Church. Arrangements were made by the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The Hospice Foundation of WNY, P.O. Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240-0590.
