For the second consecutive year, Buffalo Cigars is presenting the Buffalo Cigar Festival from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Wings Meeting Place, 3964 California Road, Orchard Park.

Buffalo Cigars’ director of marketing, Megan Gordon, talked about some of the highlights of this year’s event.

“We are looking at over 800 guests, which would be more than last year,” Gordon said. “Music will be playing all day long, with Eric Van Houten as the headliner from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Our VIP tickets have already sold out, and those tickets include 20 premium cigars, early event entry, preferred parking and exclusive meet-and-greets.”

There will be 42 cigar vendors at this year’s festival, including such major VIP vendors as Rocky Patel of Rocky Patel Cigars, Rick Rodriguez of CAO Cigars, Michael Giannini of Ventura Cigars and Jack Torano of Torano Cigars.

Food is being provided by Butcher Dave’s Meat Extravaganza, and the beer is presented by Resurgence Brewing Company. General admission or “Cigar Lover” tickets cost $129 and include a swag bag with 15 premium cigars, accessories, access to music and cigar vendors, five beer tickets and all-you-can-eat food.

Gordon said that after a successful event in 2017, organizers are looking to make it even better this year. She also said the event is even for people who are not looking to smoke cigars.

“The nonsmoker friend ticket [$69] is an option for friends or spouses who want to attend but do not smoke,” Gordon said. “That ticket includes all of the luxuries of the cigar lover ticket, minus the swag bag.”

The Buffalo Cigar Festival is an 18-year-old and up event. Along with Buffalo Cigars, the event is also sponsored by the Buffalo Cigar Club, General Cigars, Cigars for Warriors and Cigar Rights of America.
