Library News

LIBRARY HOURS — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Children’s programs

Rockin’ Baby Story Time will be held at 10 a.m. every Monday from now through Aug. 20. Registration is required.

Rockin’ Toddler Story Time will be held at 11 a.m. every Monday from now through Aug. 20. Registration is required.

Rockin’ Preschool Story Time will be held at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday from now through Aug. 21. Registration is required.

Rockin’ Independent Preschool Story Time will be held at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday from now through Aug. 23.

All-ages programs

The Knitting Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Storytime at the station

At 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, pop-up story time will be held at the Orchard Park Railroad Depot. There will be stories, songs and activities. No registration is required.

Lego club

At 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, complete Lego challenges and explore a different Lego theme every month. For children ages 5 to 12.

Saturday crafts at the library

At 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, come to the library for some hands-on crafts presented by the Teen Service Group. These crafts are best for ages 10 and younger. Registration is required.

Orchard Park film series

From 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, the library will host a screening of a Hollywood classic with a discussion of the film to follow. For more information, call Tim Allman at 662-9851.

American classics book club

From 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, come for conversations regarding Nathaniel Hawthorne's “The Scarlet Letter.”
