ITT Enidine begins phase two of plant expansion

ITT Enidine, a designer and manufacturer of energy absorption, vibration isolation and attenuation products, is continuing its expansion plans at its manufacturing and operation headquarters in Orchard Park.

With phase one complete, the focus has shifted to the warehouse expansion. Concept Construction Corp. has been chosen to build the 11,500-square-foot addition. The same company handled phase one construction

“The experience at ITT Enidine has been excellent. They are great people and have a very successful company,” said Vince Ricotta, Concept’s vice president of business development. “While we always consider it a privilege to be selected by our customers in the first place, being invited back to continue that partnering relationship on additional projects is very rewarding and gratifying for us as a team.”

“The innovative ITT Enidine energy absorption solutions that we provide to solve our aerospace and industrial customers’ challenges and our operational efficiency due to lean manufacturing techniques has allowed us to grow significantly enough to require a building expansion,” said Christopher Lewandowski, ITT Enidine executive director of operations and site leader.

Lewandowski said the company is excited about the future and is proud of being able to grow manufacturing and employment in the U.S. and specifically in Western New York.

The expansion project includes site work, a manufacturing area addition and some interior and exterior upgrades. The project is expected to be completed by late fall.
