Orchestra to play the Pavilion

Voted Buffalo’s best high school musical group, the Carnival Kids Steel Orchestra from Lancaster High School will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Tonawanda Legion band set for concert

American Legion Band of the Tonawandas, under the direction of Michael Shaw, will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Market to continue through Oct. 4

BlueCross BlueShield of WNY presents the third season of the Orchard Park farmers and artisans market. The market will run from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays until Oct. 4, in front of Orchard Fresh, 4050 N Buffalo Road. Each week, the market will feature 18 vendors, made up of a mix of local farmers and artisans; two food trucks and live musical talent from 4 to 6 p.m. Music is provided by Envision Real Estate and Premium Mortgage.

Little League fundraiser slated

The Orchard Park Little League will hold its annual fundraiser from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Spot Coffee, 6519 E. Quaker St. Laughing Bandit will provide the music for the fundraiser. This will be the first of three summer concerts at Spot Coffee.

Boston Lions to hold Father’s Day dinner

The Boston Lions Club will present a Father’s Day chicken dinner. The dinner will run from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Boston Lions Shelter, 8500 Boston State Road. Tickets can be purchased before the event at 3 Girls Cafe, 8373 Boston State Road. Tickets are $10.

Underwater Dogs photo shoot set

SandDancer Canine Swim Therapy & Fitness, located at 6084 Powers Road, will welcome Seth Casteel for his Underwater Dogs Photo Shoot Tour 2018. Space is limited for individuals to have their dogs photographed by Casteel, an award-winning photographer, who creates one-of-a-kind portraits of dogs. West Herr plans golf tournament

West Herr Automotive Group’s Team West Herr, in conjunction with the Ride for Roswell, will hold its sixth annual charity golf tournament at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Harvest Hill Golf Center, 3052 Transit Road. Registration and lunch will be held at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $145 per player and includes lunch, free range balls, dinner and prizes. Free fishing clinic planned for children

The Erie County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs and the state Department of Environmental Conservation will present a free fishing clinic for children. The clinic will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Commissioners Cabin at Chestnut Ridge Park. No license or equipment is needed.

Creekbend Bluegrass Band to play Pavilion

Creekbend Bluegrass Band will start the summer concert series from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Credit union golf outing set for June 26

The Erie-Niagara Chapter of Credit Unions will host its 22nd annual golf outing from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Harvest Hill Golf Center, 3052 Transit Road. Proceeds will go to the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Registration and the driving range will open at 10 a.m.; lunch will be served at 11 a.m.; and golf will start at noon.
