LIBRARY HOURS — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Children’s programs

Toddler Story Time is taking place at 10:30 a.m. every Monday from now through June 11. Registration is required.

Preschool Story Time is taking place at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday from now through June 12. Registration is required.

Independent Preschool Story Time is taking place at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday from now through June 14. Registration is required.

Lapsit Story Hour is taking place at 10:30 a.m. every Friday from now through June 15. Registration is required.

All-ages programs

The Knitting Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Read to Maisy

Register to read to Maisy, a certified therapy dog, through the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ Paws for Love program. Pick out a book and practice reading aloud to a good listener in the meeting room at the Orchard Park Library. Maisy will be available from 6:30 to 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 12. Introduction to Windows 10

From 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 14, the library will host an introduction to Windows 10, the latest operating system from Microsoft. Students will become familiar with the desktop, the start button, Microsoft Edge and the Windows Store. Registration is required.

Sylvester and the Magic Pebble Puppet Show

At 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, a puppet show will be directly followed by a puppet-making workshop. Recommended for ages 12 and younger. Registration is required for the workshop. Call 662-9851 to sign up.

American Classics Book Club

From 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18, the club will be discussing Ralph Waldo Emerson’s “Essays.” The club will be reading: “Self-Reliance,” “The American Schola r,” “Circles” and “Experience.” Call 662-9851 for more information.

Tie-dye T-shirts

At 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, come to the library to make your own tie-dye T-shirt. The event will be held outside, weather permitting. Attendees must supply their own T-shirt for decorating. Registration is required. Call 662-9851 for details.
