Mampe set to become South Davis Elementary principal

Julie Mampe Julie Mampe The Orchard Park School District has announced the appointment of Julie Mampe as the new principal of South Davis Elementary. The appointment is effective Sunday, July 1.

Mampe will succeed Christine Rassow, who will retire in June after serving in the district for 12 years.

Mampe was previously the assistant principal at Clarence High School for three years.

Prior to that, she taught in the Williamsville Central School District as a gifted programming specialist for Country Parkway Elementary School for seven years, and as a high school English teacher for three years at Bath-Haverling High School.

Mampe holds the following certifications: school building leader; school district leader; gifted education K–12; literacy education K–6; literacy education 7–12; elementary and English education 7–9; and English education 7-12.

She received her Master of Science degree in education from the University at Buffalo in 2013.
