‘Lunch and Learn’ seminar planned

Mike Gannon, a select manager at West Herr, will present “Discover a no-cost auto buying plan for your employees” as part of the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce’s “Lunch and Learn” seminars, to be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in the chamber office, 6524 E. Quaker St. Gannon will explain West Herr’s VIP vehicle shopping assistance, below-market vehicle pricing and how a company’s employees can participate at no cost. Lunch is included. Senior Center looking for Asian mahjong

The Orchard Park Senior Center is trying to start an Asian mahjong group to meet at the center at 1 p.m. Mondays. The center is looking for players, and no experience is necessary. To sign up to play, call the center at 662-6452 or send an email to opsenior@orchardparkny.org.

Side-by-Side concert slated for Feb. 16

The Southtowns Youth Orchestra will join the Orchard Park Symphony for the annual Side-by-Side youth concert from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Orchard Park High School, 4040 Baker Road. Orchard Park native and violinist Angel Rhodes will join the orchestra for Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin in E Minor. Tickets are available at the door for $15 for adults and $10 for seniors. Students are admitted free of charge.

Networking meeting set for Feb. 22

Business Connections, the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce’s networking group, will meet at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, in the basement meeting room of the Municipal Center, 4295 S. Buffalo St. For further information, contact the chamber office at 662-3366.

Spaghetti dinner set at parish center

The Holy Name Society of Queen of Angels Church will hold a Taste of Italy spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at the parish center, Electric Avenue and Warsaw Street, Lackawanna. The meal includes all-you-can-eat pasta, a dessert and beverage. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12. There will be bell jar raffles and a split club. Tickets will be presale only. Call 646-0513, 432-8162, 648-2097 or the rectory at 826-0880. Tickets will also be sold before and after weekend Masses.
