St. John Vianney Lawn Fete this weekend

St. John Vianney Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., will hold its annual parish lawn fete from July 23 to 25.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, July 23, and fish fry dinners will be available until 8 p.m.

The first night will also include Cruise Night, which begins at 6 p.m. Awards will be presented in a number of categories, including best in show.

Hit ‘n’ Run will perform from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., and a fireworks display will be held at 10 p.m.

On Saturday, July 24, a spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., and Black Widow will perform from 7 to 11 p.m.

There will be fireworks at 10 p.m.

On Sunday, July 25, the final day’s events begin with a BW’s barbecue starting at noon and continuing throughout the day.

There will be music from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. by Backbeat ‘64, and then the Boys of Summer will take to the stage at 6 p.m.

A $10,000 raffle will be drawn at 9 p.m., with the lawn fete concluding with a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Throughout the weekend, there will be food, beverages, games of chance and children’s games.

“We would like to invite all of our neighbors and friends to join us for an exciting weekend of fun for the entire family,” said Monsignor Bill Gallagher, pastor of St. John Vianney. “We have something for everyone, and we top it off each night with a giant fireworks display.”
