Event coordinator helps brides plan perfect day

SOMEONE YOU SHOULD KNOW
by NICK KONOTOPSKYJ

Carducci Carducci Gabriella Carducci has worked at La Galleria Events, 3923 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park, as the event coordinator and social media coordinator for more than six years. Along with establishing the Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram accounts, as well as the Pinterest page, Carducci also helps brides and grooms plan for their special day.

“Being an event coordinator means that I get to aid in the decision making for the reception, as well as offer suggestions in all of the different aspects of the wedding,” Carducci said. “From the initial booking, all the way up through the actual wedding, I work with people to ensure that everything goes according to plan.”

La Galleria opened in March 1976 as a Northern Italian restaurant. Currently, it serves as a venue that not only hosts weddings, but bridal and baby showers, corporate events, anniversaries and many other special events. After undertaking renovations, La Galleria is again open and committed to providing great service, food, and an outstanding atmosphere, according to Carducci.

“I think La Galleria stands out because of how beautiful this area is,” Carducci said. “People will have a chance to take rustic pictures in an elegant setting. The nice thing about only doing events is we focus all of our attention on that wedding or event. One of the unique features of La Galleria Events is that they are very customizable. The team at La Galleria helps each couple shape their event into a wedding tailored individually for them, portraying their special love story.”

Carducci is also a volunteer for the Western New York Center for Survivors of Torture with the Jewish Family Service of Buffalo & Erie County. The WNYCST addresses consequences of refugee trauma and offers support to these individuals and their families during the healing process. Prior to this, Carducci was a volunteer for a year and a half at Vive La Casa, a program of Jericho Road, which is a shelter for clients seeking asylum.
