• At least three candidates were interviewed yesterday for the chief of police position by the Orchard Park Town Board. Details concerning the outcome of the executive session Wednesday were unavailable due to deadline constraints.

Out-of-district conferences were at the forefront of discussion Tuesday as the Orchard Park Board of Education tried to pinpoint costs associated with trips made by its employees outside of the district’s boundaries.

South Buffalo Street businessman Michael Capriotto was appointed village trustee Monday to fill Steven McCarville’s vacancy on the Orchard Park Village Board of Trustees.

The Quakers basketball team is on a roll, defeating West Seneca East, 72-64, and Hamburg, 75-72, to up its record to 9-2 and 4-1 in league play.
