Public Information Meeting
Burmon Drive
Reconstruction Project
The Town of Orchard Park to set a
public information meeting for the
Burmon Drive Reconstruction project
on Wednesday, August 16, 2017,
from 4:30-6:30 PM in the Basement
Meeting Room of the Municipal Center, S-4295 South Buffalo Street, to
discuss the project scope of work and
gather any specific private property
information. All interested parties are
invited to attend.
The purpose of the informational
meeting is to explain the proposed
project in more detail, outline the
approximate schedule, and provide
residents with the opportunity to ask
questions about the upcoming project. The Engineering Department will
be present to answer specific questions that residents may have regarding their property and impacts.
The Town of Orchard Park Engineering Department is finalizing the
design for the reconstruction of Burmon Drive, between Abbott Road and
Bielak Road. The project is currently
out for bid and is scheduled to be
awarded on September 6, 2017.
The scope of work includes new
under-drain stormwater system for
the roadway and adjacent lawn areas,
sub-base stabilization, and asphalt
pavement replacement with country

gutters, the replacement of the entire
water and sewer systems, as well as
replacement/installation of sidewalks
the entire length of the project. The
typical section has a 22 foot pavement
width and 2.5 feet concrete country
gutters on each side of the asphalt,
totaling 27 feet. The majority of the
proposed work will take place in the
existing highway right-of-way of Burmon Road.

Reconstruction Project
Sealed bids are requested for the
reconstruction or Burmon Drive within
the Town of Orchard Park, New
York.
Bids shall be received at the office
of the Town Clerk in the Municipal
Center, 4295 South Buffalo Street,
Orchard Park, New York until August
30, 2017 at 1:00pm (Local Time) at
which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Supervisors
Conference Room. Each bid must be
prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract
Documents. Each bid must also be
accompanied by a Bid Security in the
form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond,
or Bank Check in the amount of 10%
the Bid Price.
This project may be funded in part
by grants from the State of New York
(NYS). It is the policy of NYS to
encourage the greatest possible participation of minority and women owned business enterprises in
State-funded projects. The General
Contractor, by bidding on the contract,
acknowledges his/her understanding
and support for this policy and
pledges to cooperate fully with the
Town of Orchard Park in meeting NYS

ESTOPPEL NOTICE
The Village Board of the Village of
Orchard Park, County of Erie, New
York, on the 12th day of June, 2017
adopted a resolution pursuant to the
Local Finance Law of the State of
New York, a summary of which is as
follows:
To issue its sale of a serial bond or
bonds, and a bond anticipation note
or notes in anticipation of the issuance
and sale of said serial bond or bonds,
in an amount not to exceed
$1,900,000. The proceeds from the
sale of the obligations are to finance
the cost for the planning, design,
acquisition and installation of the water distribution main along Route 20A
and the period of probable usefulness
thereof is forty (40) years. A complete
copy of such resolution is filed in the
office of the Village Clerk of the Village
of Orchard Park, Erie County, New
York and is available for public inspection during regular business hours.
The validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be
hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object
or purpose for which the Village of

should have been complied with as of
