Vehicle suffers damage from motorcycles

Thursday, May 11

A vehicle was traveling south on Route 219 near Milestrip Road and had an incident with three unknown motorcyclists. One of the motorcycles sideswiped his driver’s-side mirror. The man alleged that another biker then stopped on the shoulder and threw a rock at his hood. There was minor damage to the hood. The motorcycles fled the scene.

Friday, May 12

An Orchard Park man left his vehicle in the median with its four-way flashers activated near the Taylor Road overpass. The vehicle had hit a bump in the road and struck a concrete barrier in the construction area, spun around and hit the barrier again. The man was found walking on Chestnut Ridge Road. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable or prudent.

Saturday, May 13

A vehicle was stopped on Southwestern Boulevard for having its passenger headlight out. The vehicle also had a suspended registration. The West Seneca man also had a suspended license. He was charged with the headlight violation, failure to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change, failure to submit a suspended license to DMV and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. A Colden man’s vehicle was stopped on Big Tree Road for having a suspended registration. The man also had a suspended license. He was charged with suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Sunday, May 14

A vehicle was stopped on Southwestern Boulevard after making an illegal U-turn. The Hamburg man was driving on Abbott Road and was

observed making the illegal turn. He also switched lanes without signaling. The man allegedly refused to cooperate with officers when he was stopped. He also refused a breathalyzer test. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, obstruction, refused breath test, improper left turn, failure to signal and illegal U-turn. A Colden man was stopped for speeding on Chestnut Ridge Road. The man was charged with speeding, unlicensed operation, missing front plate and unlawful possession of marijuana. A vehicle was stopped on South Buffalo Street for speeding. The Colden woman also had a suspended license. She was charged with speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. A Cheektowaga man was stopped for speeding on South Buffalo Street. The man also had a suspended license. He was charged with speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree.
