Buffalo Cigars to open cigar shop and lounge

At the end of January, Buffalo Cigars will open a cigar shop and lounge at 2911 Southwestern Blvd. in Orchard Park.

The cigar shop will open in January, with the lounge slated for April.

With more than 5,000 square feet of interior space and more than 3,000 square feet of outdoor patio space, the establishment is expected to be a destination for anyone with an interest in cigars, pipes, hookah, sports, entertainment or relaxation, the release from the company said.

The cigar shop will feature 2,500 square feet of retail space with more than 2,000 products, 200 brands and the largest walk-in humidor in Western New York.

The shop will also include a wide selection of pipes, pipe accessories, hookah and hookah-related accessories, as well as e-cigarettes, making it the largest smoke shop in the area, the release said.

The facility will also house a 2,500-square-foot smoking lounge that will allow its patrons to enjoy cigars, pipes and hookah.

The lounge will be open to customers, and annual memberships will be available, along with humidor lockers where members can store cigars. The Buffalo Cigars lounge will also feature two outdoor patios for its patrons, including a 2,000-square-foot second-story patio above the lounge, the release said.

Also included will be the ‘Cigar Hall of Fame’ cigar museum. More than 200 historic and antique artifacts will be displayed throughout the shop and lounge.

These displays will include antique cigar accessories, vintage cigar advertisements, classic cigar boxes and more.
