Quaker’s Landing presents lecture At 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, there will be a lecture on the history of downtown Buffalo at Quaker’s Landing, 101 Sterling Drive. The guest speaker will be Joe Bieron, professor emeritus of chemistry at Canisius College. Bieron has more than 20 books published on local history.
