PLAYOFF CHAMPS — The West Seneca Magic Blue travel softball team recently won the NFL 16U girls fastpitch division playoff championship by defeating the 10-1-1 Lancaster Heat, 6-2. Members of the Magic, which also placed second earlier in the season at both the West Seneca and New Era Showcase tournaments, include, from left: first row - Rachelle Kelchlin, Leslie Keegan; second row - Allie Chavanne, Ryhan Chavanne, Corinne Christie, Kaylah Maze; third row - coach Randy Chavanne, Sara Persutti, Kendall Franz (Orchard Park), Jill Schrader, Lindsey Hurley (Orchard Park), Jess Jozwiak (Orchard Park) and coach Ken Schrader.
