Man complains after his Bills tickets did not arrive

Monday, Aug. 23
• Police are investigating a complaint by an Orchard Park woman who said she received harassing text messages.
Tuesday, Aug. 24
• An employee of a Bank Street business observed a vehicle pull out from behind the building early in the morning carrying nearly $200 worth of steel piping.
• A 25-year-old Colden woman was charged with driving with a suspended registration due to an insurance lapse.
• An Orchard Park man told officers he was concerned because his Buffalo Bills season tickets never arrived.
• After a taxicab driver was unable to wake up a 25-year-old Orchard Park man who passed out in the back seat on Hammocks Drive, he called officers for assistance. When police arrived, they discovered a bag full of alleged narcotics and a hypodermic needle and charged him with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument.
•Two 16-year-old Buffalo females were charged with petit larceny for stealing various items of clothing from an Amelia Drive store.
Wednesday, Aug. 25
• An Edward Drive man said his mailbox had been knocked off its post on Aug. 11. After fixing it, the man said it was knocked off again on Aug. 13.
• A vehicle was reportedly entered on Middlebury Road and a global positioning system was stolen.
Thursday, Aug. 26
• An Orchard Park man told police that following an estate sale in June, he signed a contract with a man to sell the remaining $2,000 worth of items. The man said he has had a difficult time trying to reach the person to determine when he is going to sell those items, which police said he is in possession of.
Friday, Aug. 27
• While a Butternut Circle family was having a garage sale, they believe a woman who stopped at the sale is responsible for allegedly stealing a charm bracelet with two charms worth $125. They told police she left in an older white four-door sedan.
• A 23-year-old Orchard Park man was charged with criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and fourth degree grand larceny.
Saturday, Aug. 28
• A 19-year-old Buffalo male was initially stopped for speeding at Abbott and Milestrip Roads. When police approached the vehicle, they detected an odor of marijuana and found prescription pills as well. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance and speeding.
• A male reported he was pushed to the ground and choked by an individual who told him to remove the money from his wallet. The victim removed the money and handed it to the suspect, who then took the money, pushed him to the ground again and fled. Police said the matter is still under investigation.
