The Orchard Park Garden Club is seeking private donations in order to be able to continue the Beautify OP II program in 2011.

Members of the garden club, headed by Maureen Davern, planted 100 hanging baskets, 52 sidewalk planters and the urban garden in front of Mangia's Ristorante at the corner of North Buffalo and West Quaker streets. The program was funded by Arthur’s.

Funds have been depleted due to the purchasing new baskets and the group will need to replace some of the existing boxes in the coming year. Anyone interested in making a donation can send a check payable to: B.O.P. II, c/o Village Office, 4295 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, N.Y., 14127. It is a tax-deductible donation.
