A deal was reached between the Orchard Park Central School District and Erie 1 BOCES Tuesday night to allow BOCES to rent classroom space from the district.

According to Jeffrey Petrus, assistant superintendent of business, Erie 1 BOCES rents out nearly half of the Baker Road building, which also houses the District office.

They also agreed to rent one classroom at Eggert Elementary and three at the middle school.

“We do receive $6,000 per classroom for the rental of space,” said Petrus.

Erie 1 BOCES will pay $126,000 total to rent space from the district during the 2010-11 school year.
