Police are seeking help from the public in attempting to determine who is responsible for several robberies in the Eagle Heights subdivision on Aug. 23.

Orchard Park Detective Lt. Patrick McMaster said police have not been able to determine any suspects.

“Hopefully somebody starts talking,” said McMaster.

The incidents reported to police include:

• A global positioning system was removed from a vehicle parked in a garage on Knob Hill Road. McMaster said a sliding screen door leading to the living room was also cut by a sharp object.

• A complaint was received from a Briarhill Road woman who said she found her sliding screen door cut open, and a computer and cell phone removed. She also said a vehicle was entered in the garage and that a purse containing credit cards was missing.

• A vehicle was entered on Orchard Hill Road and a GPS taken.

• A GPS was removed from a vehicle on Fir Top Drive,

• Nearly $4 in loose change was stolen from a vehicle on Briarhill.

•Approximately $250 worth of cash, a passport, an iPod and hockey sticks were taken from a vehicle on Briarhill. According to McMaster, the owner later found the hockey sticks.

•A Pawtucket Road woman said someone entered a vehicle parked in the driveway and stole a cell phone, digital camera and a wallet containing $12 cash, credit cards and a debit card. A nearby resident later found the wallet and it had all its contents except the debit card.

•Sometime overnight, a Knob Hill woman told officers she heard a suspicious noise, but did not see anyone. The next morning, she discovered that the screen door was cut, but it did not appear anything was missing. •An iPod touch removed from vehicle on Briarhill.

•A vehicle on Edward Drive was entered, but it did not appear anything was taken. Police said the incident occurred on Aug. 23, but was reported Aug. 25.

McMaster advised residents to make sure their vehicles are locked, because he said several of the vehicles entered were unlocked.

He also asks that anyone with information call the Orchard Park Police at 662-6444.
