It took 12 years, but the dream that Orchard Park graduate Chris Stern and Justin Hamilton had when they were civil engineering students together at Rochester Institute of Technology has come true.

They formed Hamilton Stern Construction, LLC in 2010 and recently moved from leased office facilities to a permanent and newly-renovated office/warehouse facility in Pittsford, N.Y.

Great Erie Federal Credit Union has awarded a $500 college scholarship to Emily Lewandowski, an Orchard Park High School senior.

Lewandowski was chosen by a statewide committee based on her academic and extracurricular achievements.
